This is a beautifully located property set in the early stages of the gorge itself - surrounded by high gorge walls and a beautiful oasis type environment. It has a comfortable hotel wing but is also a popular spot for RVers with camp sites available.
The staff are multi-lingual and very friendly and helpful. The room is good value for money. Plenty of parking.

The only downer was the evening food which frankly was pretty awful. I highly recommend this place for a pleasant oasis stay but would suggest eating elsewhere for dinner

Beautiful location - friendly staff - good value - poor food

A lovely hotel in a stunning location. The rooms were great, the food was delicious, the staff were friendly and accommodating and the price was very reasonable. What more can you ask for? My friends and I were only able to stay one night on our way to Marrakech but we sure wished we could  have stayed a couple more.

A small paradise in the heart of Torda Gorge

We stopped here for three nights while climbing at the Todra Gorge. The auberge has three stories of spartan and simple rooms with adequate heat, hot showers, and extra blankets, which are valuable during winter. The corner rooms had good views of the gorge and palm trees. The bed was very hard (!)

The food preparation took some time as everything was cooked to order with a lot of care. It is mostly traditional Moroccan food so expect mainly meat options and some vegetables (potatoes and carrots). Chefs were happy to customize and were thoughtful to bring us festive snacks for holiday cheer. 

There are many RV campers and a pool that would be great for summer but too cold for winter use. 

Staff were often smiling, friendly and greeted us with sincerity. Most of the guests seemed to have their transportation arranged. It could have helped to have more assistance with arranging transportation and activity options. 

We had our laundry done but it didn’t come out very clean; it would have helped to have it done in smaller loads. We would have been happy to pay for separate smaller loads.

Fairly Priced Stay 

- The location, just minutes from the gorges
- Comfort and nice size of the room. The mattress was hard but it is a personal opinion only.
- Breakfast on the esplanade is wonderful and super complete.
- The pool is good for refreshing at the end of the day.

Wonderful

We love to come here with our clients because it’s such a beautiful little guesthouse! Especially on the country site in Morocco it’s so hard to find something great and clean but here it’s amazing! Great restaurants with lots of food, clean and cosy rooms and the staff is very friendly ! Highly recommended !
