I booked Vatnahalsen for a family gathering and celebration of my birthday. We were 14 people and we had 4 family rooms. It was a perfect visit from the first moment we arrived to the departure. The hospitality, friendliness and welcoming atmosphere of the staff and the hotel was beyond my expectation. The storm Floris was storming outdoors and we were enjoying the warmth and cosy atmosphere indoors. Food was amazing and rooms were clean, comfortable and of good size. Breakfast and dinner was appreciatived by all my guests and the waffles and coffee during the day was just the best. I cannot recommend this place enough and also the hike down to w Flåm valley Please walk - it’s so so much more enjoyable then just biking past and the flowers, creeks and cute houses.
