The title says it all, really. I have traveled the country a bit, but Lapphaugen stands out. Very friendly staff who are happy to help you out. It's my second time staying here, first time was in 2016 in one of cheaper cabins. This time it's a more expensive one with it's own shower and restroom. The cabins are nicely build and clean, too. There are free showers in the service building as well, plus free WiFi and free use of washing machines. So, while the camping ground as a whole might be on the more expensive side, there's no additional costs. Had a breakfast this morning (it needs to be pre booked) and it was really nice. Will be trying out the restaurant/café later this day. Only smelled the food so far, but it does smell really nice. That's a good start, isn't it? ;) The surrounding area is beautiful as well, but you need to have some luck with the weather. First time staying here it was raining and foggy on top of that. Today the sun is shining.
