Absolutely stunning place! We stayed self catered out of season, the owner is super friendly & super helpful! The accommodation is ideal, extremely clean (I imagine when full it would be absolutely buzzing!) Rooms are basic, showers are warm and powerful! Kitchen is well equipped, apart from a teaspoon shortage! Its always the teaspoons which go missing! Ha.. BBQ area looks incredible. Surrounded by mountains and 10km from the nearest town Otta. Like any hostel the communal areas would depend hugely on other travellers as to how clean the kitchen stays & how much room in the fridge. It's somewhere that we would certainly look to visit again & I would stay in Sjoa Gjestehus & Vandrerhjem. We hiked in the nearby Rondane National Park, snow covered in May! Absolutely stunning! P.S take your own beer ;)
