What was good

We stayed at this stunning hotel from November 26th to 27th, 2025, and were absolutely delighted. The authentic, atmospheric decor, the warm, cozy room, the heated bathroom floor, and the amazing hair care products (the shampoos and gels had a fantastic scent and effect—we didn't think it was that important what a hotel provides in this regard, but once we got here, we realized we were wrong). A hairdryer was available in the room (which isn't always the case). The location is excellent, close to the city center, Nationaltheatret station, and the Royal Palace. There are grocery stores and a McDonald's nearby, open late if you arrive late. The location is also quiet, allowing you to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. And most importantly, the friendly staff is always ready to accommodate you (there was no kettle in the room, but at our request, we were immediately provided with one full of hot water and allowed to take it to our room). Special thanks for the small talk in Norwegian, it was very nice, even though all the staff speaks excellent English. I give it 5 stars without a doubt.
