Our double room was spotless clean, with an extremely comfortable bed and ample space for luggage and cupboard space. Although the facilities were shared, again they were pristine. The hotel boosts a wonderful comfortable sitting area and the management have ensured that the many of the original architectural features have been maintained, without compromising on the needs of the modern day traveller. The hotel is situated in a fascinating local residential area of Lisbon rich in local shops and extremely well priced cafes and restaurants. This gives the impression of authentic day to day Lisbon. Our experience was of a brilliantly run establishment where the staff made us extremely welcome, we would highly recommend the Angels Inn for anyone wanting to experience a friendly relaxed stay in Lisbon. There is also the opportunity to rent a self contained apartment which offers accommodation for up to 10 people which includes a private kitchen and exclusivity for families and groups. A truly secret gem in Lisbon’s urban opportunities of where to stay.
