Residencial Belo Sonho

this hotel is only small but perfect for couples or people travelling alone. the room i stayed in was small but adequate and the bathroom was just what was required .it was clean and each day the bed is remade for you. the hotel is based centrally to the shopping area of Porto. it is on a busy road and opposite the Colliseum where they have concerts and if you have a room overlooking this it can be very noisy. simple solution is take earplugs ! the lady and gentleman that runs this hotel are so nice and although i dont speak Portugese and they dont speak English , we made ourselves understand whilst laughing at our predicament. put google translator on your phone ...it helps a lot . i took plug adaptors with long thin pins only to find they didnt work. you will need adaptor with round pins ! they dont do breakast at this hotel but thats fine as there are many cafes around that do and cheaply. there are stairs leading from the street to the foyer and up to the rooms. i walk with a stick as i am disabled but managed them ok. i was given them a second floor room on request
