12 of us just returned from 4 nights away at this hotel. We played the two golf courses attached to the hotel, both of these were in fantastic condition. We also played at Monte Rei, this was however in poor condition, definitely not worth the €220 at this time of year. I can’t fault this hotel at all, the rooms were spacious and clean and house keeping was very good. The food was exceptional, especially the evening meal, this was not the run of mill all inclusive hotel where all the food tastes the same. There was plenty of choice. The drinks menu was very good as well with Super Bock the draft beer. All the staff made us feel very welcome. A special mention needs to be said to all the other guests in the hotel, 90% would be German or from the Netherlands, they were so friendly and welcoming to us 12 English men, and we made many friends even in a small time.

The dress code for the evening at the restaurant/bar at Robinson is smart casual: no beachwear and no bare chests allowed. Sturdy shoes and long trousers for men are required in the restaurant. Flip-flops are only acceptable if they are stylish or made of leather. Adilettes or similar beach footwear are not permitted. The Rob Carpet Evening is intended to be a bit more elegant. Dressing up is optional, but most guests follow this tradition. Guests are also welcome to take part in themed dress evenings. These themes are listed in the Robinson app for each specific club.
