Pensiunea Poarta Apusenilor

We actually accommodate in "Poienita Apusenilor" - a small villa, with 4 rooms, 1 km away from "Poarta Apusenilor", but is the same owner. We also take breakfast and sinner at Poarta Apusenilor. We were 4 families in vacation, so the villa with 4 rooms and a big living room and a big kitchen, at the ground floor was perfect for us. Also very quiet area with nice view and few watchtowers outside and a small playground. The food at the Poarta Apusenilor - more than OK and very tasty. Everyday they serve us something else - transilvanian specialities. So ... why 4 stars? ... for us the vacation was perfect: nobody disturb us, clean rooms, good food ... but : if u wanna stay at the villa over the day, well ... u cant: are no trees there so ... no natural shadow, and its a worm area there - very hot aver the day. We visit every day something: Turda Saline, "Cheile Turzii" - Turda Defile, "Huda lui Papara" - Papara's cave + Paraschieva Monastery - in teh same location, Dumbrava Monastery, "Castelul cavalerilor" - Knights Castle - must to do, because the road till there is ... astonishing. We also go to Cluj and "Laguna Albastra" - Blue Lagoon => Go to Cluj and forget Blue Lagoon (its not a lagoon and ... its not blue ... its a green swamp with a lot of noisy frogs). So 4 stars because of the missing natural shadow., otherwise u can have a very nice vacation there.
