Additional information
The requirements for documents needed at check-in depend on the type of accommodation and the applicable regulations. For hotels and other accommodation facilities, a Russian passport, an international passport, or a driver’s license may be accepted. For apartments, serviced apartments, and other properties where check-in or contract conclusion is carried out according to the rules of a specific property, the required documents are determined by the property itself. Front desk opening hours 07:00 - 23:00. Electricity is provided by a generator according to a schedule: from 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 07:00 PM to 12:00 AM local time.
Technical water from a mountain river is supplied to the domes, and is suitable only for washing and brushing teeth.
Each dome is equipped with a bio-toilet and a sink; the shower is located on the hotel grounds and is heated by solar panels.
There are also toilet modules with city-style toilets on the hotel grounds.
Breakfast is included in the accommodation price. Set lunches and dinners are available only by prior order.
Guests are recommended to use a UAZ transfer from the village of Kuray to the eco-camp and a car parking service in the village at the following address: Kyzyl-Tash, Novaya street 15. The parking fee is RUB 300.00 per day. The transfer from Kuray departs daily at 11:00 AM and 05:00 PM, and from the "Mir Altai" eco-camp at 12:00 AM. The cost of the scheduled transfer is RUB 1500.00 per person one way. If guests would like an individual transfer at any convenient time, the cost for a 4-seat UAZ is RUB 5000.00.
Guests are not recommended to travel in low-clearance city cars, as the road to the eco-camp is unpaved.
If guests have an all-wheel drive crossover or SUV and intend to reach the accommodation on their own, they will need to drive 25 kilometers through the Kuray Steppe towards the Akturu Valley, ford the Tetyot River, and before the ascent to the "pass," turn right towards the eco-camp, which will be less than a kilometer away.
When booking, guests are asked to inform us if they plan to drive on their own, and we will send route navigation files for their GPS. It is strongly recommended to download the route in advance and drive only during daylight hours, as it is easy to get lost in the steppe after dark. |
