Nika Mini-Hotel

This is the cheapest hotel I've stayed in in Russia, and the experience was very pleasant, which is in no small part courtesy of the reception lady. She was waiting for our arrival until midnight (granted I called in advance to notify of us being late), and arranged for our breakfast to be brought to our room before the end of her shift! Our room was the most budget option, yet it had all the amenities. The tea and instant coffee is available at the reception throughout the day next to the water cooler. Breakfast was satisfying, with some bread and cheese, a yogurt, and a muffin. They have their own gated parking lot, but we used a bus to get to the center - the bus stop is around 10 minutes walk along the street actually leading straight into the historical part of the city, at a hospital. The building is shared with a cafe but we got no disturbance neither by noise nor by smells. The only inconvenience was that the window of our room was right next to the hotel entrance so I could hear some other guests arriving early in the morning, but I am not sure this can be totally avoided as they only have like 8 rooms. Will stay again if back to the city.
