Beautiful cozy stay in a single bed room at Karelinn Hotel. It was conveniently located not far from the city centre, with restaurants, a supermarket, bakery and public transport just outside of the hotel. Check in went smoohtly, room was cold, but a movable heater was provided as part of the room which was very very convenient. Staff were friendly and professional. A 15 min walk to the Sadovaya metro, 25 min to St Isaacs Cathedral, and 30 min to Nevskiy prospekt, Dom Knigi, and Spas na Krovy (Savior on the Blood).
The room was clean, comfortable,air conditioned, and very quiet. The staff was friendly.
What was bad
The floor of the room is about 1 meter below the level of the courtyard. It's in a semi basement. There still is plenty of light.
