The problem with Tarusa (to which I go every year) is that all the hotels are overbooked on many Summer weekends. Gallery is likely to be among the last available and this is not through compromise on quality - it is good enough by town's standards. There may be some flaws in service quality - e. g. hot water appears to be a problem in peak hours. Still the overall experience is quite nice. The price seems a bit inflated compared to Russian regional average, though it is competitive against other local offers
