Aviator Garni Hotel

Our outbound flight landed not long before midnight. At that time the car hire desk is closed and I didn’t much fancy trying to find my hotel in Jasna at 4am in winter conditions anyway. So, I found a family room at Hotel Aviator Garni which was a 10minute flat walk from the airport. It was very easy to find and we received a warm welcome. The family room was only £50 and after a days travelling, a cold beer for 2 euro’s ((£1.65) hit the spot. Our room was comfortable, clean and functional and the shower was good. It was functional but not luxurious. Essentially excellent value. The bedroom was by far the hottest I’ve ever stayed in but we slept with the window open (it was -4c outside) and all was well. You could order a breakfast the night before for 7 euro’s (£5.80). We decided not to bother as we were excited to get on the road and thought it better to eat en-route to break the journey so I cannot comment on the quality, but 7 euro’s seems like a great price to me.
