We decided to stay for 1 night at Chocomint Pension as it is near Nami Island and the Gangchon Rail Park. It is only 10 - 15 min drive to Gimjuyeong station, the start point of the Gangchon Rail Park. The room was simple and clean and had cooking facilities which allowed us to heat up some breakfast. Note that the pension does not provide breakfast service. The duplex unit has a queen side bed in the loft which was quite cool for children and my teenage sons. Overall, it was nice experience staying in the serene countryside. But do note that the surrounding is very quiet and pitch dark at night and without a car, it is virtually impossible to get around. There are also very few food options for dinner. We drove 20 mins to Chuncheon city for dinner. The place is run by a lovely elderly couple.
