Bluemore Motel

We were here on a family vacation with our 5 year old, and had a good experience with the motel. The location is extremely good, only 50 meters from both of the express bus terminals. There are a number of restaurants up the street, and a largish supermarket about 150 meters away past the bus terminal. There are three bicycle and motorcycle rentals 200 meters away. Yes, this motel doubles as a "love motel", and the staff does not speak a word of English, but that's the reality you are talking about, unless you stay in 4+ star luxury hotels in Korea. The other guests we saw were a family, a couple, a couple, and a family. No reason to make a big fuss of the "love" aspect of the motel. Our room was large, slightly over 35 sqm (not the 50 sqm advertised on the hotel booking site we used), with a queen and a twin bed, a desktop computer with a 30 inch display, a large wide-screen LCD television, a fridge, a bathroom, a separate toilet, air-conditioning, WiFi with a router in-room. There was parking for at least a dozen cars behind the motel, and the parking was advertised as free. The pink wall papers and the slightly over-the-top red sofa were quite cheerful, as were the bright colorful lights outside the building and in the neighboring motels, but nothing that regular visitors to Las Vegas, for example, would not be familiar with. The only issue we had was that we could not operate the AC remote control, because all the text in it was in Korean. Could have asked the receptionist, but did not. Keeping the windows open was enough to keep the room cool.
