On my recent trip to S. Korea, this was my favorite hotel. While it is located outside the city of Gyeongju, there are many places to shop and eat within a short distance of the hotel. There is even a convenience store in the basement. My room was rather large as asian rooms go. It had a beautiful view of the surrounding grounds and structures. The bathroom was definitely western in design and size. Nice large shower cubicle. Of course, there was the wonderful Korean toilet which does everything but flush itself. Breakfast buffet was very good with a lot of space to eat without crowding out your neighbors. The food was very good. The front desk staff was very helpful.
