Grand Hyatt Seoul 

I am staying several nights at the Grand Hyatt Seoul and overall I am very happy with my stay. At check-in, I was initially given a room with a nice view. However, the bathroom felt a bit outdated and only had a shower over the bathtub, which did not fully meet my expectations. After a quick and polite request at the front desk, I was offered a different room without any issues. The new room was on a slightly higher floor, had the same great view, and featured a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. This was a much better fit for me and made the stay significantly more comfortable. I especially appreciated how friendly and helpful the staff handled the situation. All staff members I interacted with throughout my stay were very kind and attentive. The gym is well equipped for a hotel gym, and I also appreciated the hotel shuttle service, which made getting around much easier. The hotel is not within walking distance of shops or restaurants, so a taxi or the shuttle is usually needed for most trips outside. Breakfast offered a good variety of options, although I personally missed having à la carte choices. As this is a large hotel, breakfast can get busy during peak times, so arriving a bit earlier or later than the main rush is a good idea. The pool area is well maintained and relaxing, and there is also a whirlpool, which was a nice addition. Rooms located close to the elevators can be a bit noisy at night, and the rooms are slightly soundproofed, so light noise can carry. For a quieter stay, I would recommend requesting a room away from the elevators.
