Hotel Hill House 

The room was spacious and very clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was included in the price and since it is a motel, it was "help-yourself" to coffee, tea, bread, biscuits etc., all laid out in the lobby area. Although the spread was minimal to some, for those who usually have a "light" breakfast, it was sufficient. The Executive Director spoke good English, so we had no trouble in communicating. He is a very pleasant and helpful guy and gave pertinent answers to all our questions. Located in a very quiet and scenic area - facing the sea. Next to the motel, there is a Grilled Beef Restaurant, which serves "yummy"Korean beef and Bimbimbap and the price was very reasonable. Further down the road, there are many more Seafood and Grilled Beef and Pork Restaurants to whet your appetite. From HHM we took a taxi to YML Hotel (Approx. KWR15,000). It takes 15 minutes on foot to get to Odongo Island or the other alternative, is to take the trolley (at a nominal fee). Since we arrived late at Odongo Island and due to our short stay in Yeosu, we were unable to visit all the other places of interest on our itinerary. However, we intend to visit Yeosu again and stay at Hill House Motel. .
