IGNORE the negative reviews. This Hotel is in the perfect location. Transfer from the Airport is only 20 minutes and our taxi pulled up straight outside of the hotel. We were on the 5th floor. We had two double rooms which were next door to each other. Rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Great bathroom with big walk in shower. Lovely toiletries too , both in the shower and at the sink . Our rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. Safety deposit box and Air conditioning also provided. The Hotel has a quiet atmosphere. Breakfast every morning was delicious. Lots of choices. From cereal, bacon, fruit, cheeses and cold meats. Can be busy at times and a little noisy in the breakfast area , but it's a really good breakfast and not to be missed. Some people have said they are disappointed as the hotel bedroom has no fridge, we weren't bothered as two doors down from the hotel is a little supermarket selling lots of cold drinks. Hotel Barcelona House is a great place to stay. We stayed 4 nights and slept peacefully every night. Added bonus is to step out straight into the Gothic Quarter and Placa Reial where there are lots of delicious restaurants. In our opinion we found our stay excellent value for money and would definitely return. Fabulous Hotel 🏨❤️
