New May Flower Hotel 

Our flight arrived at past midnight and so we were able to get to the hotel at 3am, there was no one at the front desk anymore but they made sure that i could get the room key by emailing me a picture of the room key left at the desk with a note and found it there when we arrived. We were 5 so the 3 double beds in the family room were more than enough for us. There is a big flat screen TV and a mini ref, cabinets, enough power outlets for our gadgets, a hair dryer, hot and cold water in both sink and shower, and a bath tub. Liquid soap and shampoo in dispensers were also available. Our flight home was at 10 pm but we had a tour of Jiufen, Shifen, Yehliu early that day, so we checked out early of the hotel and the female staff allowed us to leave all our luggages behind and be picked up later that night. The male staff (owner?) also was very helpful in getting us transpo to the airport upon checking out. Despite not being able to speak much English, he just used a translator in his phone to communicate with us. Overall, a great experience in this hotel, that is very near the Taipei Main Station, Ximending area, department stores, restaurants. Also just beside the hotel is a 7-11 store. The old ladies cleaning the room daily were both very nice. Hotel looks dated and may want some facelifting done.
