Maleedee Bay Resort is definitely a good idea if you’re planning to stay in Ao Nang. It’s located on a quiet area just a short walk from the main street. If I knew I would love this place so much, I would have booked it for all my days in the south and then would just get on day trips to Phuket. We did the Phi Phi and Hong Islands tours and was very convenient to have the hotel so close to the port. The staff was really friendly, we asked for the late check out at 1PM and arrived a little late so they were extremely patient while eating for us to pack. The bungalow is amazing, very spacious and cozy. The only thing I would change is the fact that it doesn’t have restaurant/breakfast. They do have the space for it but it isn’t available.
