Hotel Hua Chang Heritage Hotel Bangkok

I’m currently at this boutique hotel and having a very pleasant experience. It’s a bit quirky and unusual, it’s kind of under a flyover that the trains speed by on and beside a busy road but screened by trees enclosing a picturesque pool area. The hotel is near to many of the places you might enjoy in Siam…Central World and the Paragon Mall, MBK centre etc are all a 15/20 minute walk away and there is a Seven Eleven nearby over the bridge for any bits you might need We were celebrating our anniversary when we arrived and the room was decorated in a romantic way….the room itself was clean and spacious with everything we needed. There is a fridge and extensive mini bar, big freestanding bath and Japanese style toilet plus a lovely shower. There is fast and efficient wifi and the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a buffet affair and has a blend of traditional Thai food and western fayre, everything is presented well and the bread is particularly delicious. I would prefer a traditional toaster as the multi purpose grill/oven takes a bit of time but that is a minor quibble. We have enjoyed watching the fish in the pools and squirrels in the trees outside the restaurant. We are on the fifth floor and it’s fun seeing the trains whizz by our window, we haven’t been disturbed by the traffic although you can hear it. We would stay here again, it’s quite different to many of those corporate samey places and all the better for that. Recommended!
