The people at the hotel were very helpful. I had arrived in Bangkok long before the check-in time, so they let me use a smaller room to sleep until the bigger room was ready. The big room was clean, the air conditioning worked very well, the bathroom was immaculate, all for the equivalent of $23 USD a night! The location is excellent. There are over a dozen restaurants well within walking distance, a mom and pop store across the street, a 7-11 on the corner with three ATMs and it is easy to get a cab there, too. Lumphini Park and the US Embassy are about a 40 minute walk away.
