We were visiting Thailand on our honeymoon, and flew into Bangkok to meet family for a few days in the city before going to our 'getaway' destination. The Jasmine was selected for us by our family member who has stayed there countless times over the years. It's a lovely, spacious hotel, very clean, nice big rooms with everything you need and more - i had the best nights sleep of my life here that i can remember. The staff are very prefessional and friendly, and the hotel bar manager was super hospitable offering us free drinks and chatting with us on our first night. It was excellent value for money too - the breakfast was amazing, literally anything you want to eat, it's there, as much as you want (if you're my husband). Very well situated for the the SRT, right outside, so you can get anywhere in the city quickly and easily. I wouldn't call it a luxury or romantic hotel, but it was very pleasnt and perfect for a few days in the city.
