While living in Thailand, I have stayed at this hotel countless times over 15-years. Best location -- 5 minutes walk from SkyTrain & 15 minutes to the underground. Helpful staff: (maids / desk guys / with good security) -- most all employees have all worked at the Pavilion Place for years -- all are helpful. . This is an older budget hotel so keep your expectations in line with the favorable price for your stay in one of the world's largest metro areas -- 1/2 block from Pat Pong night market. Good for adult tourists and younger budget travelers -- in an entertainment district so not good for families with younger children. Some rooms have been redone -- ask for one these. Clean older rooms -- nice sheets; however, still ask staff to give the room a quick spray of your room on arrival. If you: want a great price; a great location; and are a budget traveler you will be happy staying here. If you want to spend more for a place in BKK, the sky is the limit -- up to you!
