Booked a 3d2n stay at Must Sea Hotel (a.k.a 507 residence). Didn't expect much from this hotel since it is at a pretty cheap price. Location is pretty good - around 8 minutes walk to victory monument BTS. The BTS is also close to JJ market (mo chit), MBK,Siam Paragon (Siam) etc. Staffs' friendliness is okay. They will smile at you when you return (though they may or may not greet you). More often than not, when we greet them, they will return the greetings! Pros: - Good Location - Clean Hotel room (I've once stayed in a hotel in Vietnam which was really sandy with rock-hard bed) - Breakfast is decent with 4 choices : 2 x American + 2 x Asian style breakfast (The one I posted is the Asian style one. The other Asian breakfast is congee) Cons: - Has to provide deposit of 1000Baht to be returned when you check out. This is really not tourist-friendly as we will prefer to have all our money on us so we can spend most of it before we check out/ fly out of thailand. - Doesn't have kettle for the room I booked - doesn't have a weighing scale (important for budget tourist who shops A LOT) - TV channel selection is very limited.
