Ariva Ivy Servizio Thonglor Serviced Apartment 

My Thai friend booked this for me as I was travelling alone and she thought it would be better than a hotel and I have to agree. The apartments are really well designed and have everything you need for furnishings. I stayed in a one bedroom apartment and there was enough cupboard space to live there! The bed was huge and very comfortable and it had a good shower and a bath. Towels were changed every day and it was very clean. There was an iron and an ironing board, a microwave, toaster, washing machine and even a rice cooker and cutlery. There is an excellent gym with a relaxation rea and a small garden on the 5th floor. The swimming pool was also very good, as was reception. Being a mature lady on her own I felt very safe there and they have the security lifts so you need your key to get to the right floor and through from the lobby which is spacious with lovely fresh flowers. The staff could not have been more helpful. There is parking there. There is also a shuttle down to the BTS station or you can walk -about twenty minutes if it is not too hot to do so! The shuttle doesn't run on a Sunday but they didn't hesitate in finding a taxi for me which cost only 50 baht to get to the sky train so a very convenient location. There are lots of places to eat and buy food there so I was very impressed. They supplied some stuff like shampoo for the bathroom which was appreciated but my only criticism was that there was nothing to wash up with such a detergent and a cloth. I did not feel right leaving it for the room service and anyway they supplied only two of everything so I had to wash up! However it was easy to pop a few shops down to a 7-11 and buy the necessary stuff though. There is no restaurant on the premises but plenty nearby that do breakfast or you can do your own. Very impressed and would stay there again for sure.
