The Guesthouse is about 2.3 km out of the main centre in a quiet area with garden setting and near a lake. I phoned ahead to request bicycle rental and this was provided when I arrived and made getting around the town quite easy. The rooms are well maintained and quite well appointed, given the price range. The outside seating area is also quite pleasant. The WiFi connection speeds are good. Breakfast consisted of fried eggs and toast with 3 in 1 coffees, served on the balcony at around 8 am (or earlier if requested). There is a morning chorus from the roosters in the area and dogs can be a bit noisy at times. The best thing was the attention to detail and guest comfort shown by the family that run this pleasant little guesthouse. I was given a free lift to the bus station area on the morning of my departure. I would happily stay here again and recommend to others – provided the bicycles are available or you have your own transport.
