I stayed at The Lotus Boutique hotel for one month on my last visit to Chiang Mai and was very happy with the hotel and the wonderful staff. The hotel has been upgrading the rooms with all new smart TVs and new WiFi. The staff quickly became my friends and were very helpful when I needed assistance. Lots of information is available on things to do and see in and around Chiang Mai. The hotel has a swimming pool that is very nice to cool off in on a warm day. The attached Garden Bar has been remodeled and has a variety of foods including Thai, Lebanese and Western. The food is cooked when ordered, so plan on enjoying a cocktail and watching the new large screen TV while waiting to be served. The hotel's location is about a 10 minutes walk North of the old city making it a convenient location to access, easily, different point of interest of the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel to travelers visiting Chiang Mai.
