Except for the location! You'll need wheeled transport to get you around as there is not much in the immediate neighbourhood except a few eating stalls, 2 hairdressers and a convenience shop. You could stay here and go on organised tours so you don't really need your own transport. Grab is pretty dependable too, so that app would be a good option. The nearest mall, Central Airport (highly recommended), is a 7 minute drive away. You could cross the busy Mahidol road (be very careful as it's a highway!) and walk to Chiang Mai Land road which has restaurants and other interesting places. From there you could do a 30 minute walk to the night bazar near Loi Kroh road (down Changklan road which has lots of shops). As for the hotel, for the price, the rooms are very spacious, clean and new (the hotel is only 2 years old). So I do recommend it. Oh, also the rooms face North-South, which means they don't get too heated up by the morning or afternoon sun, The rooms are fairly quiet too.
