This was my second stay here this year, and my previously glowing Trip Advisor review (in July) was only reconfirmed again! If you are looking for a luxury resort property, with a swimming pool and spa etc. then this is perhaps not the right place for you. However, if you are after a genuinely Thai experience, combined with a fantastic way of exploring the Chiang Mai region then you could do not do better than chose the Rose of Suthep option. The warm, friendly and welcoming hosts James and May provide an expert tour guide service, that encompasses both local Farang and Thai perspectives and insights. They have already done the hard work and were able to prepare a touring program just suited for me. The location is a bit out of town, but a tuk tuk into the city only costs 150 baht for the trip, or it is only an easy 30 minute walk into town. There are also few excellent Thai restaurants within a few minutes walking distance. So what are you waiting for…. you won’t be disappointed. Raymond B Australia
