Kikie was the sweetest person we met on our entire trip. She is sincere, friendly, and very funny. She will welcome you with a smile and point you towards whatever you are looking for in the city. She has experience with trekking and working with elephants in the area and she has friends who do other things like cooking classes. I would recommend you have Kikie do the bookings for you because she can guarantee the businesses are good and get you the cheapest prices. The room we stayed in was private, spacious, and had good air conditioning. The location is very good as it is inside the ancient city area. The only complaint would be that the shower is not the best as the water is a little smelly and when you shower the whole bathroom gets wet. Overall would highly recommend staying at Kikie's. She is a lovely lady that wants you to enjoy your stay. Also, she will do you laundry for 40 bat which was very handy.
