After staying in another location in Chiang Mai we didn't expect much from Sarabu but when we arrived we were very pleased. The staff were welcoming, we asked for an air con room and were given keys to a room on the top floor (3 floors of rooms) they only have stairs (some people expected a lift, this didn't bother us.) The room was spacious, clean, cool and airy. One of our previous accommodation choices didn't have windows, so having windows was amazing!! The curtains were silver lined plastic type material so blocked the sun/heat out really well. The bathroom was as we expected, clean and a good shower. The guesthouse is located on a small side road, just a short walk away from a street of bars and restaurants which are just across the road from the Chiang Mai wall. The guest house offered a laundry service which we used and were happy with. We also extended our stay here as we were so comfortable.
