This is my second stay at Thapae Boutique House. It is located only 3 min walk from Thapae Gate but is so quiet and peaceful. I like this place as it feels a little more authentic than large hotels with generic rooms that are the same around the world. This boutique place makes me feel like staying in Thailand. It truely is quiet an peaceful. I found the beds comfortable. The bathrooms may be simple but they have an authentic feel. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. My Deluxe room is at a bargain price. Superior rooms are as cheap as a hostel. Seven Eleven, restaurants, bars and money exchange are 1 minute away. Only 6 minute walk to Loi Kroh Road too. They don't rank as highly on some booking sites because they don't pay extra fees. I suggest you search for this place as a delightful stay in Chiang Mai.
