Soisabai Guesthouse

i had such an amazing experience at this hostel. the rooms were clean and nice, with private bathroom, A/C, and TV. it was a great location just outside of the old town, walking distance to many attractions such as the old chiang mai wall and gate, restaurants, bars, the night market and several temples. they also had a great restaurant in the lobby, with awesome fruit salad and coffee. what really made this hostel stand out though, was the couple running it. i can't say enough good things about these two. they were so helpful, from serving us food, offering laundry service, booking day trips for us (elephant sanctuary, doi suthep golden temple, doi inthanon mountain top temples, tiger kingdom, cobra show and more) and from what i could find on the internet, book those excursions for us at no additional cost than if i had done it myself. they helped us when my girlfriend got sick, from delivering food to our room so she could eat in bed, to recommending a pharmacy and medicine that would help. our stay here in chiang mai was both my girlfriend and I's favourite part of our one month tour around thailand. I would highly recommend this very quaint and reasonably priced hostel to anyone, and would certainly stay there again next time I'm in chiang mai. thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home and city with us, your kindness was truly appreciated
