It would appear that this business has only recently commenced operation. They were still building some rooms during our stay. However, if our room is anything to go by then Lanna Residence packs lots of potential. The rooms are beautifully furnished and create a quaint and inviting atmosphere. We stayed in a "family room" and paid about $40AUD per night which for us represented great value for money. We may have been the first people to stay in the room that we were allocated as the toilets looked like they had not been cleaned since they had been built. Were they dirty, no, but they were not spotlessly clean either. The beds were also extremely hard and hopefully will soften with age. Despite these two minor issues we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here. Is it a place that everyone will love, most certainly not. This is not a hotel with creature comforts but would say that it is an up market budget option. We would stay here again and the staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.
