Nice and relaxing place to stay in Chiang Mai. This guesthouse is not located in the heart of the city but it is close to it vía bus or even walking (no more than 10 min). There are just 5 min from the airport if you take a taxi. The staff is the real value of Mong Guesthouse. Both of the brothers managing this place are helpful for every little detail you need. They are available every time for the guests. We were treated perfectly, specially when my girlfriend felt sick one of the days. Impossible to ask for better and more personal service. The little swimming pool is other thing to speak about. For us, it was the way we started and finished our days in Chiang Mai: swimming alone on fresh water. Simply marvelous. The rooms are large and clean. The WC is divided in two parts: one is inside the room and the other outside (street oriented). Queen side beds, A/C and TV. The building is running from October 2012, so all stuff in there are new. Maybe there are other cool places to stay here but this is a really good choice if your budget is around 30$.
