Baan Din Baramee Resort

Hi, i always stay here when i am in Kamphaeng Phet and i love it!! I always book the room right down on the banks of the Ping River, the orange house on it's own. It is fantasric to open curtains from my bed when i awake and just lay there and look out over the river and watch the beautiful sunrise every day.....you cannot get much better than that in my book! i got some great lovely pics and new time-lapse videos of the full sunrise from start to finish, from total dark to full on glaring sun but beautiful, it really was/is the best room there and a bonus there is a little spiral stairway that leads you up to the roof where you then have your own oersonal rooftop terrace at your pleasure!! Yes the breakfast is not great for westerners for sure nut as i say, it is not tourist Thailand here, this is the REAL Thailand ok as some seem to forget this, ha ha. To add to some comments as i see about 5 different threads for this same resort....maybe Tripadvisor should put them all as one topic yes? Yes it is not flashy....some seem to forget this is NOT a tourist place. At all. Almost NO English is spoken by anyone in all this area as it just is not required as it is doesn't ha e 1000's of tourists passing by it. EVERYWHERE that has rooms for rent gets called a "resort" so that is not anything wrong, it is just how they do things up here.....anyone looking for some English speaking touristy type of town will be very surprised for sure. There are a couple of nice retsaurants very close by Baan Rim Naam and Mae Ping are both decent nut again remember.....you are in. the heart of Thailand, no Western food combined with no English being spoken can cause problems, ha ha. all in all i think Ban Din Baraamee resort a lovely little place to go and stay if like me this is what you wish to do, i got to k ow the owners a little bit, just a young couple starting off in life and the are lovely good people
