My husband and I stayed in W Koh Samui for 4 days, and we love it!  Staff are friendly and helpful.  Our villa is spacious and clean, and the in-villa pool is lovely.  All the facilities are great - the pool is beautiful, gym is well equipped, and the beach is wonderful!  Special thanks to the team for the surprise balloon and cake to celebrate my husband’s birthday!  We love the hotel so much and we can’t wait to be back again!  

Beautiful hotel. Service/Food/Staff are great!!!! During our stay hotel wasn’t crowded at all and we liked it a lot. Good fitness center, nice and clean beach and water!!!
My boyfriend had irritation in his eye and staff insisted on driving us to the hospital and waited for us in the emergency room the entire time.  They made us feel very safe and well cared for...

The W Koh Samui experience was just amazing. Daniel and his staff are truly passioned and committed to what they do. We were really sad to leave, we could have stayed there for much longer. Special thanks to Jirayu and Anusad and to each and everyone for making our stay so beautiful. 

Beautiful place to stay.  If you do not want to be so far out this is not the place for you.  However this is a spectaculr place to have a nice getaway.

The Pool is something else...I didn't want to leave.

When in Samui do not miss a chance to have your favorite drink while enjoy the view and scenery of Samui. 

We were a group of 10 so we booked for “Sunken Pod”, so if you are a group of more than 5 person I would recommend you book for the “Sunked Pod” so you can really enjoy.

Cocktails were so refreshing, snack was very tasty, and most of all staffs were really tentative and so nice. We really had a great time at Woo Bar and will definitely come back on our next visit.

The staff at this beautiful resort are 6 star.  The longer you stay the more you will appreciate them, and everything that the resort has to offer.  The quality of the food is amazing. We ate at the Kitchen Table for breakfast and lunch, Nomu Japanese restaurant, and we had lunch by the beach.  All were memorable meals.  (Mr) Big  was a friendly and engaging host, as was Mr Tee down by the pool and at Nomu.  We highly recommend the Japanese cooking class with Chef Pang. I wish we could remember everyone else’s names because they did an extraordinary job of remembering ours!  The Jungle Oasis Private Pool Villas are spacious and we loved the private pool.  The gym is wonderful but we ran out of time for a class.  The spa was fantastic and we made time to go back for second massages.  Woo Bar was fun - the cocktails great - try Same Same But Different.  The DJs set a great mood.  The staff also arranged for us to play golf at the beautiful Santiburi course which is a must- do for golfers.  We also enjoyed eating out once at Pepereno which is a gorgeous Italian on the main road.  Best thing to do?   Hang in a hammock overlooking the gorgeous ocean with a book in one hand and a cocktail in the other.  Bliss.  

Stayed at a spacious villa which come with a lovely pool and an outdoor shower.  Surrounded by lots of greens and lots of sunlights are coming into the rooms, which surely makes you very relaxed during your stay.  All of their staffs are exceptionally nice and always looking after you 24/7, everywhere within the whole retreat.  I've stayed many W hotels, but i must say their hospitality is best at W Retreat in Koh Samui.

The view welcomes you at the entrance is amazing, also the overlooking sear view from their infinity pool is just a breathtaking.  You can just spend your time all day by the pool.  If you're lucky to catch beautiful sunset, when the sunset changes the sky into red/pink, make sure you go down to the beach and relax with some cocktails while the sun goes down.

Overall, you will have some extraordinary amazing experience here.

All villa resort and absolutely love the spaciousness of the retreat. 

Staff are great and really love the swimming pool and beach area. 

The resort is located about 9km from the city centre, but the retreat does provide complimentary shuttle. 

There is also a very nice Italian restaurant not exactly near the retreat, but below the resort.

We booked the "Escape Package" at the W hotel in Koh Samui in Thailand.
The warm welcome, the genuine smile of the Kitchen Table restaurant team and the kindness of the chef, that went extra mile to cook out-of-menu dishes to me and to my vegetarian wife, made this vacation unforgettable.

We enjoyed various, yet delicious, Thai-Food dishes for dinner at the Kitchen Table restaurant. The same restaurant offers super rich selection also for breakfast.

Besides good drinks the hotel bar is equipped with High-Quality sound system,  creating an electrifying atmosphere.

We were impressed by the systematic proactive and positive attitude of the entire team, including SPA and Housekeeping, to offer assistance and make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

We feel very lucky to select the W hotel in Koh Samui for our vacation and will remember it as one of our best experiences.

We purchased a Luxury Escapes deal and WOW - W Koh Samui did not disappoint!

Communication well before our departure was ALWAYS promptly responded to by reception staff from booking airport transfers, general inquiries and obtaining Away Spa menu and making spa bookings.  An indication of things to come.

The resort is spectacular and the staff are truly amazing.  They will do whatever it takes to make your stay memorable and do their utmost to accommodate all requests.  

Needless to say Big greeted us warmly upon arrival and the rest of the check in process was done whilst overlooking the amazing relaxation pool and ocean while sipping a welcome drink.

We stayed in a Jungle Oasis Villa and were fortunate to have ocean views (Villa 238).  Total privacy; fantastic 11m private pool and outdoor lounge area.  

The Villa is comfortably appointed with a glorious deep bath with doors opening out to the private pool from the bathroom; pod coffee machine; well stocked bars; an amazingly comfortable bed and selection of pillows; an 'outdoor' shower and much more!!!!  The block out curtains were really appreciated.

Oh!  And don’t worry if you forget any toiletries, W Koh Samui has this covered too with good quality products – as to be expected 😊.

The resort has ‘buggies on call’ which will be at your door literally in seconds to take you where ever you want to go within the resort.

Communicating via Whatsapp is a hoot too and extremely convenient and efficient.

Located throughout the resort is the Sweet Spot.  Complimentary ice-creams, water, soft drinks and ice.  (Such a clever idea!).

Unlike other resorts we have been to, the gym is accessible 24 hours and is well fitted out. 

Breakfast offerings were incredible.  The choices were vast.  Think of your favourite breakfast dishes and W Koh Samui is offering it and much, much more!  

Chef Bee ka was amazing!  She went far and beyond our expectations to ensure special dietary requirements were met whilst still enjoying local cuisine. Thank you Chef!    

Lucky and Mini and the other staff equally made sure every meal we had at the Kitchen Table was enjoyable and memorable.  The warm welcome was equivalent to dining with close friends and family.

Oh yeah.....!  If you can fit it in, don’t miss out on Afternoon Tea!

Ni and her staff at The Away Spa were beautiful.  From the moment you walk through the doors you feel relaxed.  The sauna and outdoor shower were rejuvenating.  We thoroughly enjoyed our oil massages and the refreshments before and after our treatments.

Included in our deal was a dinner at Namu.  Admittedly the menu was created especially for the Luxury Escapes Deal – and it left us wanting and somewhat disappointed.  We felt pretty certain this was due to the Luxury Escape Deal menu and not a true reflection of what Namu has to offer.

Bank at The Woo Bar was fun and friendly.  Mixing perfect cocktails anytime of the day.  Do try their special Negroni aged in oak barrels – delicious!!!  Thank you Bank!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the W Koh Samui. We only ventured out for a couple of hours one day.  The resort has everything you could want for a relaxing holiday – at a price.  We were fortunate to have purchased a Luxury Escapes deal and experienced (nearly) everything W has to offer.

Thanks go to Daniel and his amazing team.  The genuine desire by all at this resort to make your stay memorable has to be experienced to be believed!

Staffs are amazing, you will be very well looked after

Went here on an excursion from the Cruise. Arrived at Choeng Mon Beach, which was exactly as described in the itinerary, difficult to choose between a magnificent Hotel pool and the white sand beach - beach won!  Sparkling ciear warm water beautiful setting and sand - could not be better, would happily have spent weeks/months there. 
Lunch was also great with a great varied selection. Sorry to leave.

Great Hotel, Amazing Staff and welcoming atmosphere

Amazing Staff. Resort and Location!

Last December, My boyfriend and I went to Koh Samui and headed straight to W Retreat's Woo Bar to watch sunset since this is the place I've always wanted to visit and we got a super lovely welcome from Woo Bar staff, especially, Khun NongNong. We chat a lot. She's a lovely lady who have good knowledge about Koh Samui. Also, the weather was strange that day it was kinda windy and cold, so Khun NongNong provided us a complimentary pot of aroma tea. Very appreciated! Keep up the good work, Woo Bar Team! Thank you for such a wonderful evening. and will definitely come back to W Retreat as in house guests next time we visit Koh Samui! (Oh! and sorry for the late review)
