106 reviewsExcellent value for money is the semi-secluded, but super central location, is the Pantawee Hotel Branch 2, in beautiful Nong Khai, Northeastern (isaan) Thailand. My room was on the second floor, positioned on the front corner with a nice aspect as well as soothing breezes at twilight time. There are rooms of different sizes, at different price points and I found that the reception staff extremely helpful at all times, during my short stay. Lots of channels in multiple languages on the TV, plenty of desk, storage and bathroom space. The decor is a little bit old school (see my Coffee Chill TV YouTube Vlog) and that is great, too. A highlight was the pool, spacious, good depth and just perfect to plunge into after exploring the nearby attractions, including walking street on the Mekong and or the many fine bars and restaurants close to the hotel. I will be back.
