Excellent rooms, excellent service, excellent location and this against an excellent price. The owners are lovely. If one reads the reviews of Manticorny and PaulB, one concludes immediately that these people are a bit daft. PaulB is one of those people who expects 5 stars service for 10 Dollar per day. Lets not discuss that any further. To stay here with a complete family is not the smartest of choices either. The wooden huts are noisy. The cottage not really designed for kids, one could see this upon walking in. Pool water is circulating, so even if chlorine isnt added its fine to swim in, it is filled with river water and filtered. This would equal swimming in a river. People who write bad reviews, nitpicking over small stuff, demanding 5 stars service against a 1 star rate, should THINK a bit about what they are doing. Complete nobodies write damaging reviews, for what? Not all owners treat you like a king, some have a bad mood sometimes, they are human!! Not all Thai people are living up to the standard, and upon check-in you sign NO contract that stipulates unlimited amenities, love and/or a private butler. No food available? You're bang in the middle of town. Restaurants everywhere! No soap? Go get some at 7/11 you cheap daft B****** No Cola? ... Good! You shouldn't feed your kids that rubbish! No Scooter? Why should they have them? Literally 500 meters away are 4 rental places!! No daily turndown service or Towels? Just ask! They always do/give! Here is how stuff works. YOU BE NICE. THEY BE NICE. YOU BE FLEXIBLE. THEY BE FLEXIBLE Just chill, and stop being a Tripadvisor wise-a**
