I am wondering if the previous guest mixed up the resorts as my fiance and I were there at the same time and truly enjoyed it!!! We had a great stay. Not only that the room was super clean, but the family was relaxed, food was GREAT and the cherry on top was when the owner (who was super friendly by the way) prepared a free cake for my fiance's birthday. We highly recommend this resort to anyone.

Khao Yai Chill Resort was a big suprise for me and my family. Just looking for a fews days of relaxation and getting away from it all we could not have been more impressed with this resort. One of my biggest concerns is always the staff - these guys were excellent and made our stay much more enjoyable. The kids absolutely loved the pool and we had trouble getting them out. When not in the pool we would go for long walks around the resort. Rooms were very clean and comfortable - already booked our return in 2016!

If you want a quick escape from the busy life of the city, unwind and snuggle with your loved one, this is the place to be. It offers a serene and peaceful ambiance that makes the place so comfortable and relaxing. Service is excellent! Staff were all smiles and very accommodating. We will definitely come back again!

Staying at Khao Yai Chill Resort was a real pleasure for me and my wife!

Khao Yai Chill resort was great, very relaxing and lots of nature all round you. Free wifi was good but I was so relaxed I didn't need it all the time. Friendly staff to help everyday. Chose this resort due to the fantastic reviews...
No proper welcome from the lady host. Our taxi driver had to show us where we were staying.
The outside of our room was filthy. On entering the room there were bugs on the floor, a big cockroach by the fridge, dust and hair clumps under the bed, mould by the shower floor - it quite clearly had not had a thorough clean before we arrived. No other guests were staying at the resort. 
The family room is ridiculously over priced. For a family room it was just basic 4 beds, a fridge and a tv with no channels on it (unlike in reception area) and that's it. The beds are extremely hard and so were the pillows. 
The lady host commented that she did not have any food in so she needed to buy food for us to have breakfast. Chicken curry consisted of mainly bones. 
The swimming pool is positioned well overlooking the mountain view - but the pool needed a clean as you could see green algae colouring on the tiles. There is nothing to do at the resort other than use the small pool. There are no long walks to go on - the garden is small and unkempt. When we ordered evening food the host made us feel as though we were unwelcome guests - she mentioned she was there on her own so could not do everything. Subsequently we just ordered a sandwich for our children. At no point did she ask if the food was ok, if we wanted a drink or if we wanted anything else. She seemed irritated by our presence. 
Our door lock broke in the morning and we got stuck inside the room, we had to climb out of the window. There was no apology. 
The website states that they will organise trips - but when we asked about this she told us she could drop us the park and we could organise our own taxi driver there. She did not mention about picking us up. We have 3 young children. She said the only time she could take us was 11 or 12 so we had 5 hours to fill at the resort. The outside areas are not well maintained. The sheep droppings are everywhere including on seats for guests. 
We were supposed to stay two nights but left after one. Breakfast was fine - but no good morning or greeting from the owner. This added further to the stay that we felt like intruders in someone's house.
You need a car to stay here; however, the resort is massively over priced with or without a car and should not be more than 800 baht a night. We feel ripped off.  The lady was not happy with having guests. 
Wifi worked well.
Ruined a short stay that we were really looking forward to.
