Fantastic
We’ve recently returned from another fantastic holiday at the Slate. We were welcomed by the wonderful Freda at reception who is so kind and helpful and genuinely seemed pleased to see us again. Once again we stayed in a beautiful Pearl Bed Suite and were kindly allocated the room of our choice. It is notable that the rooms are beautifully maintained with pristine upholstery, fixtures and fittings and super soft bedding and towels. There are no chips scratches or pulls in anything which makes this feel like a truly luxury experience. The cleaners do an amazing job and are always so friendly and helpful. This is the fourth time we’ve been this year so to say we absolutely love this place is an understatement! It’s such a special place and it’s so well run with a beautiful site with lovingly maintained gardens. There are mature trees and tropical bird song which makes you feel like you’re in the middle of a jungle oasis. We just like to thank a few of the staff who made our holiday extra special: the lovely Aeom in Rebar and her colleagues Peat and Jerome who provided a classy and stylish kickoff to our evenings at the Slate and we had many lovely evenings there with gorgeous cocktails and a great view (the espresso Martinis are to die for!). The Slate seems to have upped the quality of their breakfast offering even further and now have the most amazing vanilla and fresh fruit pastries as well as a huge array of savoury Oriental dishes which kept us going back for more and made for a fantastic start to the day. We must thank Soo, Adit and Nut for the wonderful and smiley service they gave us each morning. This time we had our first massage at Coqoon Spa which was nothing short of phenomenal. My therapist Apple, provided an amazing CBD oil massage which relaxed parts of me that I didn’t even know I had! Finally, I stupidly left my AirPods in our room and they were diligently handed in by a member of staff and I plan to collect them on my next visit. Huge thanks to the member of staff that found them and kindly handed them in. We plan to go back in December and can’t wait for our next dose of medicine for the soul that the Slate provides for us!
