Hotel Travelodge Phuket Town 

I had lunch today at the hotel restaurant after attending the meeting. Without any expectations, I found that the “Khao Phad Rod Fai” (one of the Thai-style Fried Rice) exceeded my expectations. The food was authentic, and I loved the wok hay that came with the fried rice. It makes the food tastier (I believe that Uncle Roger would give the same compliment). The staff member named “Khak” was friendly and attentive. He explained the menu and gave me suggestions. The drink I chose was Matcha & Yusu, which was really refreshing. He also suggested the desert menu, which I’m not really considering for lunch. Anyway, I chose the waffle with ice cream, as per his suggestion. The waffle comes with ice cream, whipped cream, and Thai Pandan. As a Thai, I’m familiar with Pandan, which is quite common, but I've never had it with waffles and ice cream. Chef Bee, another staff member, was greeting me at the table and told me to try all of them together in one bite. And that was my first time experiencing something new, and I think it was really amazing. Trust me, you have to try this menu.
