The Cettia İstanbul 

I received a complimentary night in Cettia through Istanbul stopover program and overall I am happy with my choice of stay (there was a choice of 5 or 6 hotels). The best thing in the room is the view. The windows are floor to ceiling and you can see even the Bosphorus Bay. Moreover, one of the windows has a build-in niche with a small padded stool where one can sit and observe the bustling city life from high above. The room had 2 complimentary bottles of water which is a great pro, as well as other important amenities like slippers and a dental kit. The breakfast was very decent, a buffet with many beautiful options that Turkey has to offer (olives, different kinds of cheese and bread, honey in honeycombs and so much more). Big kudos to musicians playing in the evening - the guitar and cello sounded so great together, and the lady sang so beautifully. I would also like to say huge thank you to hotel staff - Ulaş and Onur - who were so sweet and polite, courteous and attentive that I felt right at home. My only concern was with lights, as even with all lights on the room still was rather dull, but this is the thing in many hotels around the world and it did not spoil my experience. PS Just look at these ‘Do not disturb’ signs. Can they be any more cuter? 🙂
