I am from Istanbul and I have a business in Istanbul now I live in Spain and often I stay in Millennium Istanbul Golden Horn Hotel. It is in the center of Istanbul , hotel has mystic atmosphere, it is quite and very comfortable. My room was always very clean. Breakfast place is very nice and comfortable, quality of food is excellent. Their team are very respectful and helpful. Best Place to stay in the center of Istanbul. When you leave the hotel right in 2 minutes walk there is a tramway it takes you to Eminönü, if you like to go to Grand Bazaar or Suktanahmet you can transfer tramway right there and go to Sultanahmet or Grand Bazaar so you don’t have to take a taxi . There is a big traffic jump , taking tramway will be wise decision.
