Club Barbarossa Hotel & Villas 

Very good hotel at Kaş peninsula region with excellent private beach. This is our fourth visit. I'm writing this review on the third day of our holiday. Location is easy to be found: + For bus travellers: Take public transport from Kaş Intercity Bus Station to Kaş downtown. (It takes about 9 km) Transfer from downtown to peninsula by public transportation (dolmuş). It takes about 5 km from downtown to Barbarossa hotel main road. Get off at main road, take steep downhill, hotel reception is on the right. + For airport travellers: Take taxi or shared transportation from Dalaman or Antalya airport. Hotel takes 3-3.5 hours from these airports. To save money, you may take public buses from Antalya Intercity Bus station to Kaş Intercity Bus Station, but it takes longer than taxis. Follow the directions above to reach the hotel, if you prefer public transportation. + For private/rental car owners: Free parking is available nearby streets. Reception can help you for finding available parking place. Keep in the mind: Parking is very limited availability especially in the high season so that you may need to park your car away from hotel. Check in is easy and quick. Reception lady is very polite and helpful, we're really appreciated her professionalism. Our room is sea view room, which is above the main restaurant. It is big enough with excellent view. Its balcony gives you great comfort. Bathroom is big enough, cleaning details are good. Rooms offer minibar (drinks are extra), but no coffee/tea setups&kettle. Some improvements and updates are easily seen. For example, old doors have been replaced, wardrobes and insect meshes have been fixed etc. Hotel is located on hill and rooms are scattered around there. That means, you may need to take steep uphill to reach your room, especially coming from beach. I think elderly people, disabled persons and families should take this fact into consideration before booking. Hotel offers Bed&Breakfast or Half Board (Bed&Breakfast&Dinner). As hotel is not in walking distance to downtown (5 km away), I recommend Half Board, if you don't have car. Tastes and varieties of both breakfast and dinner get very good mark. Hotel's private beach is Blue Flagged, very clean and well maintained. Hotel offer free beach&pool towel service. Cabanas at beach are not free, ask reception desk for reservation and further details. All in all, it is good experience for us at our fourth visit to have holiday here at Barbarossa hotel. If you are looking good hotel with private beach, good rooms and tasty breakfast&dinner, this hotel is one of the best selection in this region. Recommended.
