Loch Lomond Waterfront Luxury Lodges

We stayed in the Drummond two-bedroom cabin from 6-10 January. It offered us a quiet and very pleasant getaway. The cabin is well furnished and has a remarkably well stocked kitchen containing everything you need for self catering. The main Glasgow grocery stores will deliver to the cabins so you can have food brought in separately if you wish. The dining room table accommodated six easily, and the fire made the sitting room cosy. Both bathrooms were en suite, which is convenient. The bedrooms themselves were a little small but both had large beds. I thin mattress pads might be added for additional comfort. Lots of towels were provided along with robes and slippers. We wish there were some longer walks around the lakeshore, but there is a nice walk up nearby Conic Hill offering dramatic views from the top. The village of Balmaha has a lovely pub, a brilliant coffee shop, and a well-stocked general store, all within a five minute walk. Thus you have nice options if you prefer not to cook some of the time. And the cute village of Drymen is a quick drive away. We enjoyed our visit very much.
