Just spent a wonderful week in caro's cottage at cartole cottages, what a truly great place to stay, the hosts could not have been better and the accommodation was so well equipped it puts my home to shame! Seriously if you're looking for a holiday in this part of the country I think you would be hard pressed to find better, thank you both and  look forward to returning again!

First rate accommodation 

Skylarks Cittage is a cosy, quiet place to stay. A warm welcome from the owners Sarah & Simon with the extra touch of fresh flowers, fizz and scones gave it a personal touch. Central to  many different places of interest abd would highly recommend.

Enjoyable stay

Just stayed at Saetr Cottage and what a lovely break it was! Cottage and surroundings are beautiful, so peaceful sitting out in the landscaped garden listening to the birds. The owners provide everything you need, including wifi and Netflix. If you're looking for a relaxing break with plenty of scenery then this cottage is ideal. Really enjoyed our stay here (just would have liked a shop within walking distance)

Beautiful little cottage

We have just returned from a fabulous week at Turin Nurin in Tomatin Scotland.  The Cottage was perfect for us in every detail.  The location and tranquility are a delight.  The Cottage has everything you need, well equipped kitchen, laundry and the under floor heating a bonus.   The bedrooms and bathrooms are in very good order with plenty of hot water.  Every thing was spotlessly clean.  We very much enjoyed viewing the varied wildlife from the panoramic window.  Thank you.  Recommended.

Excellent Holiday Cottage

Amazing views right out the window of your room and literally on your doorstep. 
Rooms are clean, functional and spacious  with a traditional feel to them. 
Breakfast is good and home cooked by the owner Angus who is friendly and helpful.

Lovely B & B with amazing views right out the window. Rooms are spacious and clean with a mix of modern and quaint. 

We stayed here for two nights with our children and had a real good time. The owner is very helpull and friendly. The accomodation is comfortable. We had two rooms at the first floor with one bathroom (bath/shower/toilet). On the groundfloor is another room with only a toilet and a sink so you have to share a shower. That was no problem for us.

The rooms are very good. Excellent beds, quiet and enough space. In all the rooms is enough information about about Skye and books and games.

Breakfast is great as well. Everything you need and fresly prepared. If he is not in, he will put everything in the fridge and you can make your own eggs.

Very good

I visited my friend -Angus, who owns this B &B. Not writing because of my friend but the place is extremely beautiful, it’s very scenic, worth visiting, 
The rooms are very clean, tidy, comfy and spacious, 
You have a sea view from both rooms, Angus is very kind and caring, the pics I have posted will prove why it’s worth visiting, breakfast is ready on trays to reduce delays in the morning, I just fell in love with the place. Am sure if I was a guest I’d happily pay more for a place like this.

Worth the price

Angus is a very nice host, the Cottage itself is offering all you need and is well situated to explore the Isle of Skye.
Breakfast is served by Angus in the rooms as there is no community room. 
Only disadvantage in my opinion that you can not open the Windows in your room, but we have also not asked Angus for the key.

Good location to explore Isle of Skye

Location is good . The living and dinning / kitchen area is bit messy and full of so many things. The bed room was nice tidy and clean . There is a separate bathroom facilities upstairs; it will be great if there is another shower facilities downstairs. The owner made very good breakfast for us . You can easily reach to all the attractions from this place . 
Uig pier only 5-7 minutes drive . Uig hotel and restaurant , Small shops , petrol station , cafe , whisky store are very close to this place. Remember to go to those places in the early afternoon/evening . In the isle of Skye everything closes bit early. 

NB : you need little bit extra petrol or diesel for your car because of hilly - mountainous road . Don’t follow your normal average MPG. 

Good location 

We stayed here for 4 nights. We had the ground floor room with twin beds. The beds were very comfortable and the room clean.  The room are not en suite here but it’s fine. There is a toilet on the ground floor just outside the bedroom and a shared bathroom, shower and toilet upstairs. The view from all the guest rooms is fantastic. 
The location is great, minutes from the harbour at Uig and only a few miles to Portree. 
Angus, the host is pleasant and helpful.
